God has been moving mightily in our small prayer group. Since the beginning of the year Greg, Matt, Cody, Ben and Ben have all found good jobs. Additionally, God saved my friend’s home from foreclosure.We’re quick to praise God for the big, life altering answers, but what about the small ones? Tuesday night in our prayer group, we discussed God’s faithfulness. He is just as faithful in the small things. Sometimes, if our request is seemingly insignificant, we barely acknowledge or thank God for answering our prayers. How that must grieve Him.
God is not a genie in a bottle, nor are our prayers “magical.” He loves it when we thank Him for all our answered prayers - even the seemingly insignificant ones. Please share some of your answered prayers. Let’s give God glory!

I am so blessed ... how can I list everything? I am thankful that my husband didn't break his ankle last week. God truly protected him. I am thankful that we have our precious daughter. I am thankful that my Daddy experienced Father's Day yesterday (at 87 years old). I am thankful to have my friends, family, and church family. All are an answer to prayer.

Great post. There are so many "small" things that I have been blessed or protected.
One example, yesterday our oil plug came out and the rest of our oil when we were driving. Fortunately, we were very near a place to get that fixed when we saw the oil light flashing. Recently, we had been on the road on long trip. If it happened then, it would have been a disaster, versus a minor inconvenience. I'm so grateful God was looking out for us.

God is so GOOD and GIVING that it constantly amazes me although I've lived under His care of goodness and giving my entire life.
He indeed answers prayer not always in our timing but always right on time.

Wonderful message! Last night I asked God to help me get up as soon as the alarm went off at 5:00 am. I didn't realize that I had neglected to set the alarm. God woke me up at 4:57 and got me out of bed 5 min later. He hears the smallest of our prayers.
