With all the hype, it is hard not to fear, so I am relying on God to help me there. Thanks for posting!

I'm with you Jan! I left a detailed message on your 2008 "I've been shot" post. We don't get the flu shots but I think the choice is up to each person but we must make informed and educated decisions. I like to say, "Bible smart and world aware" -- that's how I try to live.

I love you girl!

We don't get flu shots. I lean on my God given immune system. And with each new bug and flu shot, I pray for wisdom. I don't want to be too stuck in a mindset if I'm supposed to change.

Great post.

No fear. Freedom!

This was a timely post for me. My youngest is 3 and she's ill with a fever and cough. Very early this morning, she woke up feeling poorly and I admit I started to worry about H1N1.

As I prayed for her and me in the wee hours of the morning, I was reminded about why I should not worry. Your post just served as confirmation!

Thanks for sharing.

With so much media hype, it is hard to know where to find reliable information. The best we can do is to gather as much knowledge as we can, be practical, and pray. Freaking out about the flu causes stress, and stress attacks the immune system. Keeping calm and logical is one of the steps to staying healthy.

Very good post. I think that all the media attention is causing lots of fear and panic. We do need to be careful and cautious, but not afraid. I love the scriptures you listed.

Thanks for the advice. I'd heard of most of those immune builders, but not all.
