Hello, Jan
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 was my Scripture memorization for month of January.
I'm now memorizing John 11:25-26
"Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Sharen, while I was in the hospital, I recognized the need to have verses committed to memory. I'm so glad you are joining us.

Anette, you've picked some good ones.

The reason I chose this verse is because God told me to "fix my eyes on what is unseen" while I was praying. It prompted me to look it up and start memorizing it.

God is so good!

He has been moving me closer to this goal for some time. I actually posted about it yesterday and have begun to memorize Romans 4:17.

As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he belied - the god who give life to the dead and call things that are not as thought they were.

Almost did it there but I had to reference my index card a few times!

We should all have a storehouse of God's word stored in our heart!

Blessings
R
